Your Tasks
- Lead a team of incoming quality inspector responsible on all incoming inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance of the supplier quality plans
- Ensure material non-conformance issues are communicated in real-time with suppliers
- Drive supplier corrective action and follow up actions from initiation to closure.
- Continually work with suppliers to improve performance, implement process control and quality plans which need to start from the part development phase onward.
- Evaluate and qualify existing and new suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance through the Supplier Scorecard System to achieve quality and purchasing objectives.
- Conduct regular system and process audits at supplier premises to ensure quality compliance.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve quality and purchasing objectives.
- Liaise with New Product Introduction Team to coordinate supplier quality strategies and ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on major new programs.
- Team with other cross functions to ensure that assigned suppliers are capable of new product launches and incremental business growth to meet customer requirements.
Your profile
- Candidate Major in Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 year working experience in Quality Management
- Highly motivated self-starter, be independent, work with limited supervision, excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively and professionally with internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
- Good written and spoken communications skill.
- Fresh graduate with positive attitude, proactive and fast learner will be considered.
