Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to attract, develop and retain talents for current and future business objectives
  • Oversee HR operations which includes recruitment; training and development; compensation; benefits; performance evaluation; organizational development; employee wellness; employee communications
  • Liaise with site HR managers to develop and implement corporate strategies that are in line with the business needs
  • Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs and make recommendation to improve existing HR-related programs
  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of human resource professionals to ensure that the organization's HR strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets
  • Ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards
  • Drive corporate initiatives across Unisteel sites
  • Develop organization strategies by identifying, researching and analysing human resources issues in today’s landscape
  • Establish human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives and make recommendations to organization through strategic thinking
  • Plan and implement budgets, policies and procedures related to staffing, labour relations, training, compensation and statutory compliance
  • Oversee all HR initiatives and ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards
  • Provide sound advice to senior management on all HR related subjects

Your profile

  • Minimum Degree in HR or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years in a similar capacity prefersbly with manufacturing background
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and labour laws
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with both internal and external customers
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
