As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to drive operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and help shape the future of our manufacturing capability.

About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing operational strategies that support our growth ambitions, exceed customer expectations, and embed sustainability into everything we do. You’ll lead day-to-day operations while keeping a strategic eye on long-term objectives, ensuring our teams deliver high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Objectives
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company growth, customer needs, and sustainability goals.
  • Translate business strategy into clear operational plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Oversee daily operations while maintaining a strategic, long-term perspective.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, learning, accountability, and engagement.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality product delivery within budget and above customer expectations.
  • Lead compliance with HSE, regulatory, and quality standards, promoting a proactive quality-first mindset.
  • Integrate sustainability principles into operational practices.

Your Tasks

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing operations team in a safe, positive, and productive environment.
  • Design and optimise processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen operational resilience.
  • Take full ownership of operational performance, ensuring consistent delivery against objectives.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to support seamless achievement of company goals.
  • Set clear objectives for teams and individuals, supporting growth and development.
  • Identify skills gaps, deliver targeted training, and create career development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor operational budgets, controlling costs while maximising productivity and ROI.
  • Communicate openly across all levels, reinforcing company vision, values, and priorities.

Your profile

  • Proven track record of achievement in volume manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success leading change and embedding continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma desirable).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, empower, and inspire.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and driven, with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and operational costs.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker, confident using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • SAP experience is essential.
