Mechatronics engineers have a wide range of tasks
- Testing and measuring: one of the most important tasks is to measure angles or voltages in electrical circuits and compare the results obtained.
- Maintaining and repairing machines: systems and machinery must be checked by mechatronics engineers at regular intervals in order to ensure safe and reliable operation over the long term.
- Installing/dismantling machine parts: mechatronics engineers assemble and disassemble machines and equipment, such as a conveyor belt in a production hall.
- Installing controls and programming systems: circuits can be supplied with electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic power. Mechatronics technicians set up the respective circuits.
- Mechatronics engineers set up networks or operating software on robotic machines.
