Tool mechanic (m/f/x)

Hang a new picture on the wall or install a new shelf in the bathroom? As a tool mechanic, you will make tools of all kinds for industrial production, consisting primarily of metal and plastic parts. You will not only learn how to drill, mill or hammer professionally, but also how to read technical drawings and manufacture tools exactly to specified dimensions.

About the tool mechanic (m/f/x)

Main tasks

During this apprenticeship, you will learn how to manufacture hammers and files, as well as how to manufacture important precision tools for later use in production. For example, you will learn how to manufacture entire components from a wide range of materials. This also includes assembling the parts to function properly, inspecting components and, of course, repairing the tools.
